Below are links to a number of documents that are of value to anyone considering becoming an FFF Certified Casting Instructor.
This first grouping is a collection of documents put together by, and compliments of, Dan McCrimmon, CBOG. They were collected to be included in a workshop format that Dan put together.
Handout 1 - Code of Ethics - This document describes the ethical rules that all FFF Certified Instructors are expected to follow. All prospective instructors need to be aware of the contents of this document. Handout 2 - Training Skills - This 6 page document, authored by Jim Watkins, presents a short course on elements necessary to be an effective casting instructor. Handout 3 - Communications - This document presents Bruce Richard's Six Step Method, which describes an effective way to approach the analysis and cure of casting problems through a structured communicaton technique.
